The terms that apply to using this website and to how we describe the Fodder-as-a-Service offering.
1. Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Green2Gro website (green2gro.co.za), operated by Green2Gro Vertical Systems (Pty) Ltd, trading as Green2Gro ("Green2Gro", "we", "us"). By browsing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
These Terms apply to the website only. They do not themselves create a contract for the supply of fodder or any funded installation. See Section 4 below for how the actual contracted service is governed.
2. About Green2Gro
Green2Gro offers a contracted Fodder-as-a-Service (FaaS): fresh, enzyme-rich sprouted fodder produced daily on a customer's farm using a Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) Chamber, supplied on a fully funded basis over an initial term through our approved funding partner, Centrafin. 3. Use of This Website
You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the website in any way that could damage, disable or impair it, or interfere with anyone else's use of it
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website, other accounts, or connected systems
- Scrape, copy or reproduce substantial parts of the website's content for commercial purposes without our written consent
- Use the website to transmit any unlawful, harmful or misleading material
We make reasonable efforts to keep this website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access, and we may update, suspend or remove content at any time without notice.
4. Enquiries, Proposals and the Supply Agreement
Submitting an enquiry, contact form or request for a proposal through this website does not create a contract between you and Green2Gro. It is the start of a conversation, and any proposal we send is indicative and subject to a site assessment, credit and affordability vetting through Centrafin, and signature of a formal written Fodder-as-a-Service Supply Agreement between you and Green2Gro (together with the associated Centrafin funding documentation).
The written Supply Agreement, once signed, is the document that governs the actual contracted relationship, including volumes, fees, term, responsibilities and remedies. Where anything on this website conflicts with the signed Supply Agreement, the signed Supply Agreement takes precedence.
5. Pricing Information
Feed prices shown on this website (including on each species page) are indicative, correct as at the date stated on the page, and reviewed periodically as they track the underlying seed market. Displayed prices do not constitute a binding quote. The price applicable to your installation will be confirmed in your proposal and recorded in your signed Supply Agreement.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, photographs and the Green2Gro name and branding, is owned by or licensed to Green2Gro and is protected by South African copyright and trademark law. You may view and share pages of this website for personal, non-commercial reference, but you may not reproduce, republish or use our content or branding for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.
7. Third-Party Links and Services
This website links to third-party services, including Centrafin, WhatsApp, and our social media channels. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, availability or practices of these third-party services. Use of any third-party service is subject to that provider's own terms and privacy practices.
8. No Professional Advice
Content on this website, including nutritional, feeding rate and cost comparison information, is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute veterinary, nutritional, financial or professional advice specific to your operation. You should seek independent professional advice before making feeding, financial or certification decisions for your farm.
9. Limitation of Liability
This website and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including as to accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Green2Gro will not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, and nothing in these Terms limits or replaces any warranty, guarantee or liability set out in a signed Supply Agreement.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Green2Gro harmless against any claim, loss or damage arising from your misuse of this website or your breach of these Terms.
11. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information through this website is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from your use of this website is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our website, services or legal requirements. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Continued use of the website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
